Trading terms

Crewkerne Outdoor Toy Centre reserves the right, at any time, to modify, update and alter these terms of trade. We also reserve the right to adjust prices at any time.

Any discounts and special offers given may vary depending on supplier stock levels, which can affect the way we ‘bulk buy’ our products.

Many products are imported from overseas, thus meaning prices can change due to many factors - cost of shipping, raw materials, the pound against the euro/dollar etc..

Placing an order

Orders can be placed by phone, fax, post or e-mail. Payment should be made in full at time of ordering, unless other terms have been agreed. Cheques should be made payable to Crewkerne Outdoor Toy Centre, after payment has been made, goods will then be dispatched.

If wanting a particular item in a hurry, please do not leave ordering until the last minute! If an item is wanted for 'next day delivery' (please see below), this must be placed before 10am that morning.

Quite often orders can be placed after 10am (even up to 2pm) for 'next day delivery' however, this depends how busy we are, and what time the courier calls in to collect the days consignments.

If we do not have a particular item in stock it will be noted online as 'out of stock', or we will contact you by telephone.

Tax charges

All prices quoted include VAT, at the current standard rate.

Delivery

Most items are available to collect here from our shop, however if you would prefer we can send them direct to your home address. 95% of items are delivered on a 'next day service' - this is the next working day, not including weekends and bank holidays. We can deliver on a Saturday if needed, however an additional fee applies.

Larger items can be delivered direct from the supplier, many on a 'next day service', with the exception of large wooden climbing frames. These are generally delivered within 3-5 working days - most at no extra cost.

If ordering a playhouse, from the Malvern or Shire range, please allow 2-3 weeks for delivery. You will be contacted from the supplier to arrange a convenient delivery date.

We advise you to check all goods on arrival. If items are delivered direct, check carefully before signing for them. If the parcel appears to be damaged, you can refuse to sign, however please notify us as soon as possible. We must be notified within 24 hours, if not we may be unable to rectify the problem.

We aim to dispatch most items as soon as possible, however occasionally problems can occur. Our 'next day service' is not guaranteed, we do our utmost to ensure goods are delivered as stated, however once the order has left our premises unforseeable events are out of our control. Should the delivery van break down, get stuck in traffic or run out of delivery time Crewkerne Outdoor Toy Centre is not liable for late deliveries.

All orders dispatched with our couriers (FedEx UK) will have a tracking number, where customers can look online and track their order.

We’re sure you will be very happy with your purchase, however, if something is not correct, or something is missing, please let us know.

Returns policy

For whatever reasons, non-faulty goods can be returned within 14 days of receipt. They need to be returned in the undamaged/ unopened packaging, (as when it arrived) and a full refund will be given.

A refund will not be given if the item is assembled or returned scratched, dented or damaged in any way.

There are some situations where a refund will not be given: Large Wooden Pools, ordered direct from the supplier, Large Wooden Climbing Frames, Playhouses ordered on a 'direct to door basis' and bespoke products specifically designed for the individual customer.

If sending something back to us, for your own protection please obtain a receipt of posting; Crewkerne Outdoor Toy Centre accepts no liability for lost parcels.

Bad weather policy
Please note: Should snow/ ice or any bad weather occour when your delivery is due Crewkerne Outdoor Toy Centre is not liable for late any late delivery.
Parcels will leave here on time as agreed, if not we will notify you. Most items leave here on a 'next working day service', however this is not a guaranteed delivery.

Should severe weather occour and cause problems, this is completely beyond our control. We will always do our utmost to resolve the situation, and are constantly in contact with the couriers we use.
In this situation should you require a refund Crewkerne Outdoor Toy Centre will refund you for the cost of your goods.
The refund will only be issued once the goods are back in our warehouse.

Guarantees

Most products are guaranteed for 12 months or longer, however there are a few exceptions:

Most swings and climbing frames have a 10 year guarantee (against wood rot or insect infestation), and a years guarantee on all other parts - ropes, nets, swing seats, etc..

Many trampolines have a 5 year, or even 10 year warranty on the frame, and 12 months on the bed and pads.

Bestway Pools - pumps and framework 12 months, the pool liner 90 days.
